Explore the Area by Bike
You can rent bicycles at “Omitakashima Information Centre.”
The area around Lake Biwa offers a lot of cycling routes with the most popular activity “Biwaichi,” where you can ride a bike and go around the lake.
One lap around the lake is approximately 200 km, so it can be challenging for beginners, but for shorter trips such as the 5.3 km route (approximately 1 hour) from Glamp Dome Shiga Takashima to Shirahige Shrine and exploring the traditional townscape of Takashima, Shiga, cycling is convenient and recommended.
